Easter Weekend

So last Friday we decided to color some Easter eggs. Jax actually was very good with that little dipper tool that comes in the kit, kind of! He was so carefull to put the egg on and dip it in the color but then when he decided he wanted it out...

he would just reach in and grab it! Then as you can tell by his face in this picture he was loving that it was coloring his hands too! That face right there is not one that a mom likes to see!!!

So here is the finished product, his hand is the same color of all his eggs combined! When it came time to wash his hands and it wouldn't come off he almost had a nervous breakdown! He hates his hands to be dirty! Finally scrubbing with rubbing alcohol did the trick.

Little Avery watching everyone else make a mess. Maybe next year sweetheart!

So here we are on Saturday at the annual Easter egg roll. Jax loved to roll the eggs down to daddy to catch them then put them back in his basket and start all over again.

Trucking back up the hill like a trooper. I love the easter egg roll because then when Jax gets home from walking up and down the hill all day he sleeps so good! That's the trick, just wear them out!

Avery with her grandma, she was so entertained just watching everyone around her!

Mr. Jax, what can I say, this picture completely describes him lately!

Well the Easter bunny found our kids on Sunday, Jax got some TRANSFORMERS (his obsession these days, thanks to Dev) a new book, some number and ABC flashcards, and some playdough, oh and a few pieces of candy too, I told the Easter bunny not to go overboard with the sweets!

He even brought Avery some goodies!

We took some pics of the kids after church since they looked all cute dressed up for Easter. Isn't she a doll! Our pretty girl!

They are so sweet together! Jax is such a good big brother and Avery already just adores him!

Here is a picture of Jax and bumblebee, he was not putting him down for pictures! Dev shows him some old school transformer cartoons on the computer which is all good and fine until he starts singing the transformers theme song in church. Ugh, such a boy!

I thought it would be cute to get some pictures of them outside on the grass until Avery started screaming! She hates the feeling of the grass I guess so Jax was trying to comfort her with a kiss. Too cute!
